Watching the DarkI sit here, under the stars  I watch them move, utterly unmoved by this world below them  The abyss approaches  I can feel it coming closer  The gentle touch of Death, the hardened scrape of a scythe  Feel it fall, feel the blood  Fading so quickly  I look down  Only deep, darkened blackness  Watching it writhe and move  Watching the stillness become restless  Will it swallow me whole?  Or will it pass me by like everything else has?  All my color is gone, all my bright life  Lost in the thought of the end  Approaching so slowly, so quickly  Will it never end? &nb Watching the Dark

Lost Again

I'm not sure what to say. On the way home, I had something in my head but it's gone now. I've slipped into a state of mind where things aren't exactly important anymore. Work and sleep and eat -- and watch him make mistake after mistake, usually the same one. I miss everyone but they slip away. It is reality. I've recently been referred to as emo yet again. Maybe it rings true, may the Goddess forsake my ever poetic soul.
